    Kristen is a dedicated End-of-Life companion trained to support people and their families at any stage of the journey—from diagnosis of a life-limiting illness to the last sacred moments of life, and into bereavement. Kristen understands that the process can be emotional, overwhelming, and stressful, which is why she offers personalized plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and wishes. As an experienced doula she brings a wealth of knowledge about local resources to save the family time and stress of coordinating services that fall outside the realm of hospice or the medical system. Her grounded presence provides emotional, spiritual, and practical guidance—be it through gathering life stories, completing advanced healthcare directives, facilitating family meetings, managing communications, or working through tough decisions. Kristen works to ensure you are well-cared for. Everyone deserves a peaceful and meaningful end-of-life experience. Her goal is to help clients live their final days with dignity, with the knowledge that they are not alone, and that their life mattered. She’s honored to be a part of this sacred, intimate, and vulnerable time, and looks forward to serving you and your family.

  • MEDITATION

    Kristen welcomes aspiring and seasoned meditation practitioners where they are with a variety of ways to begin and establish a consistent meditation practice. She offers guidance through Insight Meditation (Vipassana) and loving-kindness (Metta). In a supportive environment, Kristen begins with the four foundations of mindfulness. She then encourages you to recognize, allow, inquire, and nurture your experiences in order to grow your capacity for seeing things as they are — without story or judgment. With her training in trauma-sensitive mindfulness practices, Kristen holds safe space for you — so that you may discover compassion, peace, and ultimately, freedom. Kristen’s creativity brings you on guided visualizations through storytelling and sound healing using her melodic hand pan drum and Tibetan bowls. Perhaps you want to focus on areas of forgiveness, happiness, grief and loss, or impermanence. Soon you’ll be taking your practice with you off the cushion into daily life, into your relationships, into the world. Gain clarity for each step of your life’s cyclical journey through a meditation practice in a group or 1:1 setting, or on one of Kristen’s upcoming retreats.

  • YOGA

    Kristen creates safe, fun, and welcoming Vinyasa Power classes. Her precise cues incorporate variations with the intention that every student feels both challenged and supported in their practice. In the asanas, she invites you to be curious, to experience the mind and body in a different way. Kristen views the yoga mat as a place for you to meet yourself with patience, kindness, and compassion. She defines the yogic experience as moving from one stage of life to the next without grasping, so that when you reach savasana, glimmers of peace settle over you. But mostly, Kristen encourages you to notice what is beautiful, and practice gratitude for what is.
